Michael Jackson's wife's testimony turns tables. I believe Jackson is innocent and victim to the jealousy streak among the all and sundry. It is like this emotional storm that engulfs a rare success. By definition everyone else is not, and so most of the rest participate. Take this perspective. Say Michael Jackson is innocent, then how do you explain the behavior of everyone concerned? This is also a study in racism. At least one prosecutor is on record saying "I don't like his kind of music."
Martha Stewart is another example. She was never formally tried for insider trading. Instead she was accused of lying once to prove her innocence of something she was never formally charged with. And someone on the prosecutorial team also lied, but that was overlooked. This has got to do with her being a successful woman.
In politics you have Powell and Clinton. Neither will run for President.
I guess the ultimate minority is the individual.

Subject: Business Proposal
U2, man, you are a brand name in the Nepali diaspora. I was sorry to hear about TND internal politics. I hope my last article you published was not the reason you left or had to leave. You ask me my advice/suggestion of what "something new" you could start in the email you sent me earlier. I called you up but you were already asleep.
You have already looked at this blog entry I mailed you. My suggestion would be along the same line. How about you become a partner in my online marketing business, and also become an editor? Let me explain that second part. It would be patterned after this blog. You probably know more Nepali writers writing online than anyone else. Why not reach out to all your contacts, and suggest they start a blog each? Where you come in is you will have your own blog, two blogs perhaps. One, you as a writer. The second would have you as editor. That second blog is where you will be preparing a monthly post of links to all the articles put out by all the writers in your stable! Probably coming out on the first of each month, the URL of which gets emailed to your 5000-strong mailing list. All participating bloggers, including you, will display Google ads on their respective blogs. It will be a win-win situation for all involved. The writers will get a much larger exposure than they otherwise might, and you will continue to play the role you have played among the Nepali diaspora. And because of the marketing business, we would also be involved in a lot of offline community building across the US and Canada. When hosting is taken out of the equation, writing and editing goes to a whole new level. I even have a name for the blog you will edit: Nepali Digest!
Let's talk.
I just saw Black online at Bollygrounds.com. Thank you Bollygrounds.com. Black is the most powerful movie I ever saw. I am only beginning to understand why I have always so liked Amitabh Bachchan. He always leaves you wanting for more. I grew up watching this guy. I hope I can meet him some day in person. There is noone like him on the planet. I am in New York City. He will be in New York City in a few days. But too bad I will miss him because I leave town a few days before his appearance. New York to host Bachchan film festival. Bachchan is the "most recognized face on earth."
