I misunderstood. The Google Print is not really about skipping the publishing industry. Aw, sucks!

I was browsing through the print version of USA Today here at the Pilot truckstop in Binghampton, New York, and, pop, there is Google Print! Mentioned in an article about digitizing books. Heck, skip the publishing industry, throw your books online and see if you can make money the Google ad-way. This is mana from heaven.

And now Google has said it will digitize libraries. Wow. Google is the kingkong of dot coms, would you say!

I hope they offer online storage of what people tend to store on their desktops.

And online word processing as well as display of those word documents.

We need to go paperless.

I am a huge big fan of Bill Clinton, and a big fan of Sam Walton, one a master of retail politics, another a master of retailing, both from Arkansas, some country Arkansas.

My brother bought something called a Net Phone for Rs 15,000 ($1 = Rs 70) a few weeks back, and now my family in Janakpur, Nepal, and I talk like every other day. Costs them Rs 5 a minute. It costs more to call long distance within the US.

My friend from summer 1999, and now colleague, a major boon to my book project, Siddhu, a Wharton alum based now in Kathmandu, published a webpage in the Devanagari script for me today, and I was like wow!

I just bumped into Google Scholar, and it totally made my day.

Long time coming. Google keeps you on edge and elated.
