Germany looks more polished, prepared, precise, but Brazil has more class, more raw potential, more gravitas. The Brazil style approaches soccer as an art form.

Brazil will win.

It is a pride in the Global South thing.

I just got my broadband back after almost a week. My roomie switched from DSL to Cable which is great because now stuff should be faster, but he was having router problems, finally solved. Oh, this is such a relief.

I was having to go online using my cellphone, which meant relying on the free nights and weekends regimen. Internet has to be morning coffee.

This is so much faster now. Wow.

Here is a high school classmate Bal Krishna Joshi in the news. He runs Thamel.com. It is quite a business model. It earned him an Alumni Of The Year award at his college. He went to school with Monica Lewinsky.

Bale and I were cultivating a business idea a few years back. We let it go and moved onto other things.

Impressive work.

Google Video just redesigned themselves. Now the video screen is much larger, it is almost full page. It feels like it is two thirds of the screen. I watched several videos earlier. Including one that I watched, and now it is in the news: UPN premiers "Everybody Hates Chris" on Google Video. I am feeling like I am ahead of the curve.

This is huge. How did the negotiators do it? Peace making is an art, a skill.

North Korea is committed to giving up all its nuclear programs in return for oil and power aid and security guarantees .....  as six-party talks on the crisis appeared to reach their conclusion.....   North Korea would have the right to develop a civilian nuclear program if it regained international trust, the reports said. The reclusive country also agreed to rejoin the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

At the last Tech MeetUp I attended that Scott hosts at the MeetUp.com office, there was much talk of Katrina. Infact, we talked of little else. A lot of tech entrepreneurs were getting involved rather creatively. MeetUp and MoveOn had ganged up again. And today I learn of a Google effort. This is impressive.

I read about Venture Capitalist Keith Benjamin here, and went over to his blog, and left a comment. It was a message into outer space, I thought. He actually wrote back promptly and asked for the blog entry that made mention of him. And I got to email him again.

My good deed for the day.
